Marina Castelanotti, born in Córdoba, lives in Seville, after passing through Puerto de Santa María.

Her passion for painting has developed since childhood, from a very young age she already spent hours and hours drawing everything that surrounded her and imagined, so at the age of only 8, she began to receive painting classes, and thus continued for ten years by Julia Hidalgo Quejo, a Córdoba artist of great international projection and member of the Royal Academy of Sciences, Fine Letters and Noble Arts of Córdoba.

During her university education in Seville, she participated in various pictorial training courses, including the one at the Antonio Povedano School. Later, during her stay in Seville in which she was developing her profession as a Technical Architect and Building Engineer, she continued the development of her painting by the hand of Benjamín Castillo Barragán, Doctor of Fine Arts among others.

TODAY

Currently, she combines her work as a Technical Advisor with that of an Artist, thus combining the technicality of proportions and measurements with the mixture of transparencies and glazes, seeing beyond the object itself and representing the sensations that it transmits, creating a new point of view for the observer.
